Samin

Samin, established in 2006 as an industrial IT company, contributes to customer productivity by developing new systems and technology through a mix of industrial and IT technologies.

Core technology of Samin is the shipbuilding accuracy control system based on block deformation analysis system and virtual simulation for the block erection. This technology contributes to the improvement of productivity in shipbuilding and marine industry.

World’s #1 in Dimensional Control

Objective of Dimensional Control is to find and fix all errors to achieve First Time Setting

  • Dimension Quality Management is all activities related to fabricated objects meeting pre-defined tolerances
  • Dimension Control can be approached in two ways :
  • •  Active Approach: Measures taken to prevent module/block deformation during production
  • •  Adaptive Approach: Management of controlling deformations occurred during fabrication or installation
  • Always better to fix everything before leaving the shop

EcoBlock Series

Total Station Data
Three-dimensional analysis (EcoBlock G1/G2)

Every piece of information is rendered in three-dimensional images. Accuracy control system officers no longer need to visualize the three-dimensional shape of blocks, but can analyze quality intuitively and check gaps and overlapped parts easily.

Easy compilation of check-sheets (EcoBlock G2)

The EcoBlock Series allows users to import a drawing template from a 2D task window on which a three-dimensional model is projected, rather than printing out a report by having to capture the image on a CAD program. This allows users to reduce the time required to draw up check-sheets.

Shares and manages accurate control data through a server (EcoBlock G2)

Using the EcoBlock Series, users can handle and share all data (design models, measurement data, project files, design drawings, check-sheets) in real time through a single server. Expect work efficiency improvements as the EcoBlock Series enables communication and feedback to be passed quickly and easily between design and production departments. Accuracy control systems and schedules can be handled online. The accuracy of subcontracted work, as well as plants inside and outside of the country, can be managed and monitored comprehensively.

Accuracy analysis of freeforms by a local axis (EcoBlock G3)

Since a single module of a steel or building structure has local axes in multiple directions, EcoBlock G3 actively generates a user-defined coordinate system (local axes/ global axes), which enables users to analyze module distortions.

Recommended EcoBlock Series for different client situation

The EcoBlock Series is a 3D CAD based quality analysis solutions, and we provide different product levels to meet all of our clients’ needs.

EcoBlock G1
Compatible with various 3D CAD Models
EcoBlock G1 can be coupled with various types of 3D CAD systems.(AVEVA MARINE, Tribon, SMART MARINE 3D,SMART PLANT 3D, CADDS, EFSPD, SHIP CONSTRUCTOR, AutoCAD, GRADE/HULL,CADMATIC, FORAN, MATES, CATIA, NX CAD)

Compatible with various brands of total stations
EcoBlock G1 is compatible with many different total station brands including Sokkia, Leica, Topcon, Nikon, and Pentax.

We recommend EcoBlock G1 for clients:
  • Who run small-sized accuracy control organizations.
  • Who need a more intuitive accuracy control system that uses the models rendered in three dimensional images.
  • Who seek to test-run accuracy control systems.
EcoBlock G2
Easy compilation of check-sheets
EcoBlock G2 allows users to import a drawing template from a 2D task window on which a three-dimensional model is projected. Rather than printing out a report by capturing the image on a CAD program, users can cut down the time required to draw up check-sheets.

Server function added
Using EcoBlock G2, users can handle and share all the data (design models, measurement data, project files, drawings, check-sheets) in real time through a server. Thus, communication and feedback between the design department and the production department is carried out quickly and easily. This enables accuracy control systems to be managed and monitored comprehensively.

We recommend EcoBlock G2 for clients:
  • Who run a medium or large sized accuracy control organization.
  • Who seek to comprehensively manage the accuracy control system status of the organization as well as those of subcontractors.
  • Who need to make more complex renderings of designs.
EcoBlock G3
Local Axis Function Added
Since a single module of a steel or building structure has local axes of multiple directions, EcoBlock G3 actively generates a user-defined coordinate system (local axes/ global axes), which enables users to analyze any module deformation.

We recommend EcoBlock G3 for clients:
  • Who are involved in the ohshore, offsore plant manufacturing industry.
  • Who are involved in the steel bridge and/or steel structure construction industry.
