Samin
Samin, established in 2006 as an industrial IT company, contributes to customer productivity by developing new systems and technology through a mix of industrial and IT technologies.
Core technology of Samin is the shipbuilding accuracy control system based on block deformation analysis system and virtual simulation for the block erection. This technology contributes to the improvement of productivity in shipbuilding and marine industry.
World’s #1 in Dimensional Control
Objective of Dimensional Control is to find and fix all errors to achieve First Time Setting
- Dimension Quality Management is all activities related to fabricated objects meeting pre-defined tolerances
- Dimension Control can be approached in two ways :
-
- • Active Approach: Measures taken to prevent module/block deformation during production
- • Adaptive Approach: Management of controlling deformations occurred during fabrication or installation
- Always better to fix everything before leaving the shop
EcoBlock Series
Total Station Data
Three-dimensional analysis (EcoBlock G1/G2)
Every piece of information is rendered in three-dimensional images. Accuracy control system officers no longer need to visualize the three-dimensional shape of blocks, but can analyze quality intuitively and check gaps and overlapped parts easily.
Easy compilation of check-sheets (EcoBlock G2)
The EcoBlock Series allows users to import a drawing template from a 2D task window on which a three-dimensional model is projected, rather than printing out a report by having to capture the image on a CAD program. This allows users to reduce the time required to draw up check-sheets.
Shares and manages accurate control data through a server (EcoBlock G2)
Using the EcoBlock Series, users can handle and share all data (design models, measurement data, project files, design drawings, check-sheets) in real time through a single server. Expect work efficiency improvements as the EcoBlock Series enables communication and feedback to be passed quickly and easily between design and production departments. Accuracy control systems and schedules can be handled online. The accuracy of subcontracted work, as well as plants inside and outside of the country, can be managed and monitored comprehensively.
Accuracy analysis of freeforms by a local axis (EcoBlock G3)
Since a single module of a steel or building structure has local axes in multiple directions, EcoBlock G3 actively generates a user-defined coordinate system (local axes/ global axes), which enables users to analyze module distortions.
